CHILDRENS YOGA AND MINDFULNESS

Day : Every Monday

Time : 17.00 – 17.45 (45 mins)

Age : 5yrs – 11yrs

Price : £7 per class 

TEENAGE YOGA AND MEDITATION

Day : Every Monday

Time : 18.00 – 19.00 (60 mins)

Age : 12yrs – 16yrs

Price : £8 per class

ADULTS YOGA – Vinyasa flow and Yin

Day : Every Thursday starting from 19th Nov

Time : 19.00 – 20.00 (60 mins)

Price : £9 per class

All levels are welcome

Classes will be following all COVID-19 Government Guidelines and Regulations so limited spaces available. All bookings to be made in advance please.

Benefits of yoga in schools

Benefit of Yoga in Children

Our Children live a busy life, just like us adults. Yoga is an excellent way to have “ME TIME” and allowing us to be ourselves, in our space.

Children now a days deal with many distractions, temptations, overstimulation, competition, pressure at school, college and at home.
Yoga and Mindfulness can help and benefit children as it teaches us self – acceptance and self – awareness. It allows to increase their focus, concentration, confidence and helps to manage stress through breathing and meditation. Also, it encourages health awareness both physically and mentally in a non competitive and safe environment.

 

For younger children 5-11 years old, I teach yoga poses, different breathing exercises, mindfulness and relaxation.

For teenagers 12-18 year old,  I teach to teach yoga poses / flows, breathing exercises, A bit of Yin / Restorative Yoga, mindfulness and meditation.

9 Years & 6 Months

I introduced my 9 year old son to Yasmin’s yoga class. I wanted him to spend some time focusing on himself.

I can see the benefits of yoga in my 9 year old son, his concentration at school is getting better and he has learnt to unwind and relax.

Physically it’s making Ajay stronger, it is enhancing his flexibility and coordination. In additon, his concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation has improved.
